A strategy-based board game featuring an augmented reality Android application. Explore the Space Ship, craft weapons, fight off hordes of alien invaders, and outsmart your friends in The Unfathomable Journey
Augmented Reality Markers are placed around the board, each corresponding to a room found on a Space Ship.
Players roll a virtual dice by using the mobile application to scan the Dice marker and tapping the die that appears
Players then navigate to their destination using the board tiles.
Once a player has entered a room, they can use their mobile application to scan the Augmented Reality Marker.
By clicking on the Augmented Reality Marker, a room-specific menu will appear. These menus allow players to repair or damage components of the ship such as the engine or escape pod, enter new coordinates for the Ship to travel towards, collect and craft weapons for fighting off Alien Invaders, and much more.
All of these, of course, to achieve your Mission and be declared the victor!
Your Mission might be to become infected with Astrovirus, and then escape the Ship in an escape pod, thereby unleashing this deadly plague on unsuspecting worlds.
Or, perhaps it’s to ensure that nobody else gets off the ship alive by breaking the Escape Pod, siphoning out all the fuel and hiding it, then turning off the Ship’s Life Support System!
Whatever your Mission may be, The Unfathomable Journey is sure to offer a unique and challenging game play experience every time.
