Grab a friend you won’t mind losing and try your hand at escaping the Sheftimicion Virtual Reality vault!
Whether you’re in the VR vault, or using the Arduino control panel, the real treasure is the time you’ll spend together!

This is the Arduino control panel that players can use to manipulate puzzles found within the vault. They can’t see what any of the components do in-game, so it’s up to the player using the VR display to tell them what they see!

This is the inside of the vault. There are 4 pillars in the room, each containing a puzzle that must be solved in order to open the vault door.
Toggle Puzzle

This puzzle requires players to flip switches that correspond to the lights on the panel. Each toggle switch on the Arduino board controls one unique light on the top row, and two toggles each control one of the lights on the bottom row. A red light indicates a light that is on but should be off, and green indicates a light that is on and should be on.
Mirror Puzzle

This puzzle requires players rotate 4 potentiometers in order to bounce a laser across 4 mirrors to hit the target. The potentiometers and mirrors order of appearance are not identical, which leads to plenty of arguments among players.
Wire-Cutting Puzzle

This is a puzzle, where a flex-sensor moves a small indicator across an array of coloured wires. Once the indicator turns orange over a particular wire, the Arduino-controller must disconnect that wire from the terminal while holding the flex-sensor in place.
Dial Puzzle

This puzzle is our take on a classic combination lock. Players spin the potentiometer until the light at the top turns yellow. If players can coordinate to stop moving the potentiometer in time, the light will turn green. This must be completed 3 times. If players turn the potentiometer too far, the light will turn red and you will have to start over.
Vault Combination

After solving a puzzle, the flap opens up and reveals a number. These 4 numbers are, in no particular order, the combination to the vault door.
Key Pad Puzzle

Players have 3 chances to guess the combination without a time limit. After 3 failures, the lights inside the vault will flash red and players have 30 seconds to try as many combinations as they can think of. Be quick, or you’ll end up in jail!
